My latest vice is a serious addiction to makeup tutorials on YouTube. Educational and entertaining I’d say! And as a beauty blogger, it has introduced me to a whole new world of beauty brands and techniques.
One of my favorite makeup YouTubers has to be Jaclyn Hill, and when she collaborated with Becca to create this gorgeous trio palette of shimmer shades, I had to have it!
The Becca Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector is not easily available in the UAE. I bought it from a from a UAE supplier who sells via Instagram: @glamourbeautyuae
I love how slim and sleek the palette packaging is. It looks so pretty, and its compact enough to carry about anywhere!
The palette has three shimmer shades in it, including Jaclyn’s favorite, the Champagne Pop.

The above is just one swipe of each colour. Just look how pigmented they are! I love how shimmery all three shades are, without being overly glittery.
The Pearl is a subtle silver shade that is perfect for strobing on its own. Its quite similar to theBalm’s Marylou Manizer. Read my previous post on strobing and theBalm’s Marylou Manizer here.
The Champagne Glow has a cult following on YouTube. It is a gorgeous shade of pale golden.
The Blushed Copper can be likened to rose gold, and works beautifully as a shimmery blush.
You can wear each shade on its own, combine any of the two together, or be like me and use all three at once :-)
