Blogging at Costa

My ideal blogging scenario involves a quiet, comfy space along with a frothy cup of coffee. If you are a regular at Costa, chances are you might have seen me there, perked up in a corner hidden behind my laptop screen.

I was at Costa’s newest branch in the Emirates Holidays building (Sheikh Zayed Road) a week ago, ferociously typing away thanks to their free, super-fast Wifi. I was finishing off overdue posts and making personal notes on how to schedule my writing for 2016.

My frothy coffee of choice on this occasion was a tall glass of Costa’s Latte. It’s tall enough to last through an entire blog post creation, and the milky frothiness is soothingly comforting, easing out the writer in me. I am no caffeine junkie, but I have to agree coffee helps me think better!

As per my New Year post, this year I am planning to:

  • Get more creative in the kitchen, and share my adventures with you!
  • Curb my beauty and fashion splurges, and spend more wisely on quality, long-lasting items that can be restyled in a number of ways. Expect more fashion posts this year!
  • Living in the dynamic city of Dubai, there’s no escaping the exciting new additions to the dining scene. Expect more restaurant updates!

Blogging is addictive, and also hard work. Gotta keep myself beefed up with ideas constantly! Did I mention the Beef Bacon & Fried Egg Roll at Costa is to die for? It’s a hearty breakfast rolled into one toasty bun, and really sets back the hunger pangs.

Sitting at Costa with my frothy latte and very filling beef roll, I managed to post two blog posts within a two-hour span. This is pretty much a record speed for me! To celebrate, I treated myself to Costa’s Hazelnut Pastry.

At AED 19 a plate, this is a steal! If calories were negotiable, I’d dine on this alone. Who doesn’t love the combination of hazelnut with chocolate? And this pastry is divinely smooth, sinful and creamy.

A perfectly quiet, cozy ambiance, high-speed Wifi and delicious treats makes Costa a blogging haven. You don’t have to be a blogger to be here. Just enjoy some me-time over a steaming cup of coffee, browse the net, chat with a friend. Costa is the neighborhood hangout we all deserve. See you there!
